Campus Safety Alert for June 29, 2015

The University Police Department is currently investigating a case of a female student who connected with a man on social media and invited him to her residence hall where a crime was then committed.  University officials would like to remind students of the dangers of meeting up with strangers in person or on social media sites and subsequently engaging with these individuals in non-public areas, especially residences or vehicles.  Additional campus safety tips can be found athttps://www.unf.edu/upd/Student_Safety_Tips.aspx .  Suspicious activity should always be reported to the UPD at (904) 620-2800 or 911.
